VIRUS Infection

V-I-R-U-S!!! Arrgh… Hate those viruses. Computer virus that is. Ate up my Window system 32 file causing my computer to KAPUT.

On a weekend when I’m suppose to rest & relax in front it and update my blog, it ‘kong-out’. Having to reformat the OS again is one of the many issues. But all my ‘Internal Affairs’ leh. My data, notes, fave sites, precious pictures…arrgh! (pulling hair). Luckily my in-law was great enough to put up with me. Formatting and installing the necessaries. Still, not all readers are complete until I do web sourcing though.

Midway typing or material sourcing from web, pop-ups appearing notifying me that I don’t have the software to view it. What! not again (maintaining coolness, google for a free download), have to wait for it to download first.
Even now while posting, I’m still ‘recruiting’ missing software for a smooth sailing functional notebook. Hopefully back to norn before the weekend.

Congrats...my dear

Great news of the week for me? The release of Cheryl’s first semester’s exam results! Though not excellent, but of A’s and B’s, somehow, we are pleased with it. Ahh..the dark eye circles, the eye bags from staying up waiting for her at least paid up.

Congrats, my dear….keep up the good work! ^-^ (but pls lah... come 2nd sem don’t lah so late ya )

Why...the Break?

Well, for those who've read my earlier blog would know that I've been pretty busy since committing myself to the diploma course. I've put afew...actually... alot of my office work and house chores on hold since :P. Thinking that I'll be able to 'regularise' my blog thereafter was wrong indeed. Loads of paperworks piling up (seriously needed immediate attention), dusk & cobwebs dangling here & there (oklah not so serious lah)... but still needs my 'magic touch'. That all took me 'bout 2 1/2 weeks man.

Wait, not all's over just yet...there's my daughther Cheryl's examination! (i know, i know u all might be thinking what's that hav to do with me? im not the one taking exam), you'll understand when you read on. Having a college going kid is very different compared to during her secondary school days, where everyday's schedule then is a routine, but not college's timetable (throwing in the extra club activities). By not obtaining her driving licence yet.. I'm her official 'chauffeur'. Luckily my working time is quite flexible, and also the main point is, it's near my office :D. Anyway, back to the exam part. I have to ferry her to & fro to her friends place for study and all (well, they so-called formed a 'study group' among themselves) for this first semester's exam.

Hah! finally, its over. What a relieve for both Cheryl & myself. Phew! (that is until the next semester......)

Peace of Mind at last...

At last, after months of hardwork to achieve my diploma in tesol~ I've finally finished all my exam papers and practicum. Its neither hard nor easy but still after many years since my schooldays and without examinations (as in paperwork), it's pretty excruciating for me. Well, its all over now! Yeah! My final part for the whole exam was to do a lesson plan presentation on teaching students effectively and efficiently. I was pretty nervous though, as it was presented in front of the examiner and the rest of my classmates were the "students" (my students). After the "lessons", the examiner commented that i did pretty well, which was a huge relief for me in ways. After the exam, my classmates, lecturers and me, adjoured to Shah Village Hotel for our "graduation feast" . We was quite emotional for some of us. Though we only met a few months ago, we became quite close in ways. We chat chat chat about and took group photos for rememberance. Asking each other what will our future be after this course...promising to keep in touch with each other...

And NOW! To wait for my beloved piece of diploma to venture in the world of education.
